In response to the growing demand for regulated inflation systems, PTG has developed the Semi-Automatic Tire Inflation System (STIS). This system is designed as a reliable, low-cost alternative to the CTIS (Central Tire Inflation) systems currently on the market. There are several key benefits that distinguish the PTG semi-automatic design:

• · Low purchase cost. The system is easily integrated as a retrofit on existing vehicles with full system pricing starting at $2000 USD. Installation can be performed by customer or PTG personnel.
• · No electric or electronic components.
• · There is no weakening of the axles – axles are not drilled. CTIS system often the compromise the integrity and strength of the axle.
• · No rotary valves and joints. The STIS system is only under pressure during the actual inflation and deflation of the tires. This results in greatly reduced wear and tear and subsequent maintenance.
• · Easy replacement in case of damage – each component can be quickly and easily exchanged.
• · Operating times for STIS are similar to those of CTIS systems. System is fast and easy to operate.
• · PTG system has been tested in 200 hour salt spray test to ensure all components are corrosion resistant.
